This is a simple, effective solution for one of the biggest safety challenges in any warehouse. The LG857 Blue Spot projects a concentrated beam of bright blue light onto the floor, giving pedestrians a clear, unambiguous visual warning of an approaching forklift. It’s engineered to cut through the noise and distractions of a busy industrial environment, where audible alarms are often missed.

Here’s the problem with traditional reversing alarms. They get lost in the noise. In a busy warehouse or factory, the constant beeping becomes part of the background, creating a risk of alarm fatigue where people simply stop noticing them. This is especially true at blind corners and aisle intersections. We designed the LG857 as a practical answer to this problem, providing an unmistakable visual cue that works where sound fails. It uses high-intensity 24 Watt CREE LEDs to project a crisp blue spot on the ground well ahead of the vehicle, giving pedestrians vital seconds to react.

Its tough diecast aluminium housing and robust construction have been vibration tested to 15G, so it's more than a match for the daily knocks and rattles of a forklift's life. We’ve also engineered it for complete electrical discipline. It’s fully ECE R10 approved for electromagnetic compatibility and, crucially, meets the stringent CISPR25 Class 4 standard for radio frequency suppression. This means you can install it with confidence, knowing it won't interfere with sensitive warehouse management systems, RFID scanners, or two-way radios.

Reliability is built in. The unit is sealed to an IP68 rating, making it completely dust-tight and protected against the effects of prolonged water immersion, easily handling the daily reality of dust and high-pressure wash-downs. The long-life LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours, so it’s a fit-and-forget solution. For your maintenance team, installation is straightforward. The light is compatible with a wide 10-32V DC range and comes fitted with a DT plug-and-play connector to minimise vehicle downtime.
