40 Watt Oval Flood LED Work Light – LG970
The 40 W oval flood LED work light LG970 is built for operators who need a compact lamp that still punches hard on output. With 4,000 lm (3,200 lm effective) and a wide flood beam, it fills the work area with clean, usable light on 12 V or 24 V systems. ECE R10 and CISPR 25 Class 3 compliance mean it plays nicely with modern vehicle electronics and radio equipment.
This LED work light is part of our Radiance Series, engineered for demanding trade and fleet use. Ten 4 W high-output LEDs sit in a robust die-cast aluminium housing, giving you a tight, efficient package with serious light on the ground. The wide flood pattern spreads light across the work zone, helping drivers, operators and ground staff see hazards, kit and edges clearly.
You can run the LG970 on almost any commercial or off-road platform thanks to its 9–32 V DC input range. That covers 12 V and 24 V vehicles without extra converters, so electricians and fitters can standardise on a single lamp across a mixed fleet. With an operating temperature from −40 °C to +60 °C, it’s proven in harsh European winters and hot summer sites alike.
Reliability isn’t just about the housing. The lamp is IP68 rated, so it’s sealed against dust and rated for long-term immersion in water, which translates in practice to trouble-free use on wet yards, farms and construction sites. EMC performance to CISPR 25 Class 3 and ECE R10 approval mean reduced risk of interference with CAN-bus systems, radios, GPS and telematics, which is critical on modern plant and service vehicles.
At 142.5 × 114.5 × 46.5 mm, the LG970 stays compact enough for tight mounting points on cabs, boom arms, rear gantries or side steps. Installers get a straightforward fit on standard 12 V/24 V circuits, and the low current draw of LED technology eases the load on alternators and batteries during long night shifts.
